This brand identity was developed for a diner located within East Melbourne Synagogue, navigating the intersection of deep-rooted tradition and the contemporary language of a modern bar.

The colour palette is drawn directly from the synagogue’s interior, allowing architectural details, materials, and light to inform the design system. Photography plays a key role in bridging past and present. Pairing high-flash, wine-bar-style imagery with subject matter
as ancient as the synagogue itself. 

Together, the identity reflects a space of gathering where tradition is lived in rather than preserved, and modern 
culture sits naturally alongside ritual.
